Christopher Guy, purveyor of the “World’s Most Fabulous Decorative Furnishings” announced the opening  of its newly refurbished showroom at The High Point Spring Furniture Market. Occupying more than 11,000 square feet the showroom echoes the elegance and craftsmanship that is second nature to the Christopher Guy brand.

The showroom blends eastern and western design philosophy to create a global look and feel in the newly renovated High Point showroom which took over five months to complete. The two-story structure features 15 newly built rooms on the lower floor and a decorative accents and furnishings gallery on the top floor. Creatively moved by certain architectural sites and hotels in Java, Singapore, Christopher Guy has managed to marry elegance, opulence and western interior styling into these eastern inspired, temple-like rooms.

The highlights of each of the rooms include the cool limestone floors, the textured carpeting and the endless floating walls that reference the serene, magical spaces created by both ancient and modern far-eastern architecture. With many yards of billowing silk drapery and subtle new lighting, each room is a stage set for a menu of different flavors and styles that showcase the versatility and beauty of the Christopher Guy furniture collection.

The upper floor of the Christopher Guy showroom emphasizes the diverse selection of the newest mirror collection and is enhanced by the feminine silhouettes that are the hallmark of Christopher Guy dining chairs and chaise lounges. The signature and exclusively patented “Chris-X” and “Silk-cut” design elements continue to drive the furniture pieces. With the subtle application of soft hues of lime green, lilac purple, turquoise blue and lipstick red, Christopher Guy offers a delightful spring-summer touch to his collection this season, while still preserving a timeless sheer elegance.

A company spokesperson noted that, "Defined by the singular design philosophy of a contemporary mood with classic values, Christopher Guy furnishings have garnered international acclaim and graced the homes of Hollywood celebrities, as well as suites of luxury hotels and resorts around the globe. Joining Christopher Guy’s prestigious listing of accomplished projects, including the Wynn Resort Vegas and the Wynn Macau, are the most recent additions to the prominent 6-star Phoenix resort in Sanya, China as well as the recently inaugurated Divan Asya Hotel in Istanbul, Turkey. Christopher Guy furnishings also continue to lend an air of sophistication and glamour to numerous film sets and have ‘starred’ in motion pictures such as 'Casino Royale,' 'The Devil Wears Prada,' 'Hangover,' and 'The Resident'among others."
