The Metropolitan Furnishings Association (MFA) a home furnishings association composed of retail, rep and supplier members, announced that the entire month of July, 2010 will be Furniture Promotion Month for the state of New Jersey.
According to Alan Granetz, the Association's Executive Director, the MFA will purchase eight hundred spots on NEWS 12 NEW JERSEY throughout July to promote the state-wide furniture sale.
The all-industry effort will be supported by coupons from participating retailers that consumers can download from the Association's dedicated www.njcoupons.com website, now under construction.
"So far," said Granetz, "we already have a dozen retailers and 10 manufacturers signed up to participate, and we've just started. The total cost to participate is just $400 for our retail members and slightly more for non-members. Reps and manufacturers can also participate and have their logo or offer additional discounts or promotions through participating retailers.
Said Kevin Snyder, President of MFA, "The MFA has put together an opportunity for all of us to participate in promoting our Industry during the month of July. The goal of this Statewide Event is to get consumers out shopping for Furniture again."
