A.P. Industries Celebrates Its 60th Year

Founded in 1950 by Arthur Houde in Laurier-Station, A.P. Industries announced that it will celebrate its 60th year in 2010.

Manufacturing innovative bedroom furniture in superior quality solid birch and birch veneer for all ages groups, from baby to adult, A.P.’s commitment is to offer constant product innovation and design excellence. For the occasion, a cocktail party was held forcustomers in A.P. showroom 208 during The Canadian Home Furnishings Market in Toronto (from January 9th to January 12 th 2010).

A.P. also announced the lauch of a  brand new contemporary style collection, Blue Note, including 11 items and 2 beds, available from twin to king size. With more than 30 000 different possibilities of items, including over 20 collections, 22 regular and 14 two tones finishes and hardware.

As part of its 60th year celebration the company launched a new website With a fresh clean design, rich content and a lot of photos. Said Daniel Benjamin, President, "A.P.’s new web site is the perfect way for consumers to start their buying process. The three distinctive lifestyle sections, adult furniture, youth furniture and baby furniture, will help consumers to identify the age-appropriate productsthey need. It will also help create leads for our retail customers. Multiple search options are available such as category, SKU, collection, name of item and dimensions. Features such as construction descriptions, dimensions, finishes, handles options and more are also online."

Consumers will also find dealers that sell A.P. furniture and a buying guide with important factors to consider before getting a new bedroom. In a few months, promotion and blog sections will be added, which is part of A.P.’s web strategy for 2010.
