Zocalo acquired by FurnitureOrigins

Zocalo announced that it has been acquired by global furniture powerhouse FurnitureOrigins to create a new company serving the North American home furnishings industry.
 
The senior management and sales force remain unchanged, and the company will continue to trade under the Zocalo name.
 
Zocalo will provide on-going deliveries of its award winning case good collections, Sterling Park, Belle Noir, Revelle, Madison, and Milano. In addition the new company will launch four new case good collections and a major, top grain leather program at the October High Point show.
 
Products will be available via direct container shipments, a shared container program, and a new national distribution center.
 
The new company has been capitalized to ensure stable inventory levels, outstanding product quality, and on-time deliveries. In addition, FurnitureOrigins will provide Zocalo direct access to their own furniture manufacturing capacity, further assuring American retail customers of a professional and integrated commitment to the long-term economic health of this company, and its channel partners.

Zocalo will exhibit at High Point’s International Home Furnishings Market in October and will establish a West Coast showroom in San Francisco.
