220 Elm, C&D, Market Square & Suites, Natuzzi, and High Point Market Authority to Host Party for Market Attendees

MMPI announced that, to kick-off the second market in the Centennial celebration of the High Point Market, several major buildings and the High Point Market Authority are joining forces to throw an inaugural Market Block Party at the corner of Commerce and Elm Streets in High Point.
 
On Saturday, October 17 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm, 220 Elm, C&D, Market Square & Suites, Natuzzi, and High Point Market Authority will turn W. Commerce Street into a gigantic block party open to all market attendees.
 
“We are excited to come together with the other buildings in our area and the Market Authority to throw what is sure to be a night to remember at High Point Market,” said Karen Olson, vice president of marketing, MMPI High Point (owners and managers of Market Square & Suites).  “This is the first time this venue has ever been used for a market party, and we intend this to be the first of many in this area presented by this cooperative group.”
 
A local company, Exclamations Catering, will be serving up fair-style food to keep guests well fed as they enjoy live music from Cheapshot, a Winston-Salem band known throughout the region for their high-energy party music. Beverages will be provided by Natty Greene’s, Greensboro’s own award-winning microbrewery, and a variety of North Carolina vineyards. Market badge and valid ID are required for admittance.
