The International Sleep Products Association (ISPA) announced that Carpenter Company has rejoined ISPA. This follows the recent positive news about Englander Sleep Products rejoining the association as well.

“It truly was a difficult decision to leave ISPA,” noted Executive Vice President of Carpenter Company, Ed Malechek. “It was a trying time for our organization, but I’m glad to say that our issues have been addressed by the new leadership. We are excited to rejoin ISPA, and we will devote our time, energy and resources to help the sleep products industry grow and prosper. I have the utmost confidence in the new leadership at ISPA as well as the dedicated staff, and that together, we can be the association that truly fulfills the needs of the entire industry.”

“This has been an exciting week for the entire industry,” noted ISPA Chair Don Wright of Wright of Thomasville. “Both Carpenter’s and Englander’s vote of confidence in the association is encouraging, and further proof that we are on the right track. Both Carpenter and Englander, as well as the entire industry, are critical participants in helping redefine our mission. This is the mattress industry’s association, so we will be reaching out to all members to ensure that everyone’s voice is heard.”

Established in 1915, the International Sleep Products Association is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the growth, profitability and stature of the mattress manufacturing industry.
