American Furniture Hall of Fame Foundation, Inc. Seeks Old Photos

The American Furniture Hall of Fame Foundation, Inc. is asking the industry to share vintage photographs prior to 1950 of manufacturing plants, facilities and assembly lines as part of the organization’s effort to preserve the cultural and artistic history of the furniture industry. 

“If we do not preserve our priceless industry memorabilia now, it will not be available for future generations,” says Donald Belgrad, president of the Foundation.  “Please help us preserve our heritage and history by expanding our photography collection.” 

The following information needs to accompany the submitted photography:

    • Description
 Photos received via mail will be scanned, archived and returned immediately. To be included on our new Web site, please submit photos by July 31. 

Photos can be sent to the American Furniture Hall of Fame Foundation, Inc. at 202 Neal Place, High Point, NC  27262 or via e-mail to lestep@furniturehalloffame.com.  If sent digitally, photos must be 300 dpi JPEGs and at least 5” x 7”.
