Wholesale Interiors, a manufacturer and distributor of bedroom, dining room, accents and office casegoods, as well as fabric and leather-upholstered seating, announced that it will showcase a collection of their company’s bestsellers and newest designs at the upcoming Midwest Furniture Show, set for July 29-30 in Chicago.  This is the first time Wholesale Interiors has presented their line at a tradeshow.  They will exhibit in space 42 at the show’s venue, the Schaumberg Renaissance.

According to Chuck Tanner, co-owner of Wholesale Interiors, “Through our new 120,000-square-foot warehouse we have the largest selection of transitional and modern furniture in the Midwest, so we decided it was time to no longer be the Midwest’s largest secret.”  Tanner noted that the Midwest Furniture Show is the first step in a national marketing campaign the company is undertaking, which will likely include exhibiting at the High Point Market later this year.  Additionally, the company has hired Craig Ruse, a 20-year veteran of the home furnishings industry, as their sales representative for Illinois.  Ruse was previously Midwest sales manager for leather importer Simon Li/Trayton Industries, and held a similar position with Natuzzi for nearly two decades.

Headquartered just outside Chicago, Wholesale Interiors was founded in 2002 as an internet provider of custom-order furniture, and has grown to provide furniture retailers, designers, recreation and game room product distributors, and audio/visual retailers with a wide selection of popularly-priced furnishings in transitional, contemporary, and modern designs.  With more than 370 skus currently stocked in their new warehouse facility outside of Chicago, Wholesale Interiors allows retailers to make small quantity purchases, eliminating the need for warehousing and tying up cash in inventory.  Additionally, the company can work with retailers to drop-ship special or custom-order products, as needed.

According to a recent press release, the Midwest Furniture Show began in 2007 as a way for furniture and bedding retailers in the upper Midwest who do not regularly attend the larger national markets to see new products from a variety of manufacturers.  The event draws customers primarily from Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana.
