Coast to Coast Imports announced that it will introduce itself to the industry this Spring at the High Point Market. They have a leadership group composed of three industry veterans. They have a stocked warehouse in Memphis, Tennessee and they have a new showroom on the IHFC’s Commerce Wing seventh floor – C759. It’s always daunting to launch a new company and, one might think, even doubly so with the economy as it is, but Coast To Coast leaps confidently into the industry. “We have a strong model,” said Mat Marsh, President. “We specialize in accent furniture and stock our 100,000 square foot warehouse in Memphis, Tennessee, which is centrally located in the US. As a result, while our competition takes months to ship we can ship within weeks, or faster.” Marsh said Coast To Coast focuses on popular, up-to-date categories at popular prices — accent chairs, side tables, bombe chests, media cabinets and wall décor/mirrors. “A lot of our pieces are hand painted, in muted tones; and there is a lot of wood and wood veneer. The price points are largely middle range, right in the sweet spot. All of this, with quick ship as our forte.” About IHFC: Opening in 1921, IHFC was the original showroom building in High Point and after 87 years of expansion remains the centerpiece of the world’s largest home-furnishings trade show that attracts more than 90,000 participants twice a year to 2,000 showrooms covering 11.5 million square feet. IHFC alone is home to 650 of the leading home-furnishings manufacturers, including 13 of the top 20 companies, and covers 3.5 million square feet.
