NOVA announced that it will expand its collection of three-dimensional, handcrafted metal artwork to include a number of new designs utilizing light as a sculptural element. Scheduled to debut in IHFC Commerce Building showroom C403 during the April 2009 International Home Furnishings Market in High Point, NC, the newest introductions include contemporary lamps, pendants, and wall art.

Art Studio by NOVA features three-dimensional artwork created by selected fine artists and sculptors. The designs are handcrafted in various metals and mixed materials that are enhanced with flame treatment or rich patinas. These gallery quality wall décor and free standing sculptures are designed to coordinate with contemporary interiors. Bringing copper, brass, nickel and other metal elements together with light creates truly stunning pieces that will add warmth and brightness to any room. Among the new designs include:

Glow Wall Art (10750 left)- Textured glass squares and brushed nickel accents create a simple, yet elegant staggered effect. Measuring 7”H x 7”W x 4”D, these illuminated art designs mix clean lines with subtle textures, exuding true contemporary style. The design uses 3-LED tea light candles. In addition, natural tea lights or votive candles can also be used for a softer look.

Aura Accent Lamp (10792 left) and Aura Pendant (10942 right))- Crafted from matte black steel wires and frosted glass, these accent lamp and pendant designs are inspired by the layers, levels and radiant light associated with an aura. A continuing circular design of black wires comes together with subtle, sophisticated frosted glass to create a swirling sense of soft light, Measuring 15”H x 19”W x 19”D, both designs require a 100W medium base bulb (a silver tipped bulb is recommended) and the accent lamp includes an in-line dimmer switch.
