ISPA Launches Jobs Board

The International Sleep Products Association (ISPA) announced thatthe introduction of the ISPA Job Board, created with association members and mattress industry professionals in mind. The new online ISPA Job Board helps member companies with job openings communicate with professionals searching for positions in the mattress manufacturing or supplier sector. Job openings are posted free of charge to ISPA member companies and are available for anyone to view. And individuals looking for positions within the industry can post their resumes for potential employers to review. “As a result of the economic downturn, we’re seeing more and more talented professionals across the sector who are finding themselves out of work,” noted ISPA President and CEO Dick Doyle. ”We want to provide a means for these individuals to post their resumes so that potential employers can readily find the talent they need to flourish as the economy rebounds.” “This is a word-of-mouth industry, but with the constant change and restructuring of businesses, we want to do whatever we can to assist our members in these turbulent times,” says Debi Sutton, ISPA VP of Marketing and Member Services. Sutton continues, “We have received calls from employers looking for a way to reach potential employees and from those laid off looking to stay in the industry.
