Wayfair Names Allan Lyall Global Vice President of Fulfillment

Wayfair Inc. announced that Allan Lyall has joined the company as Global Vice President of Fulfillment. Lyall joins Wayfair with more than three decades of extensive experience in global e-commerce, e-fulfillment, supply chain, logistics and manufacturing through operational leadership roles at Tesco and Amazon. In his new role, Lyall will oversee warehouse operations in all geographies, product performance initiatives within logistics operations, as well as inbound and fulfillment operations.

Prior to joining Wayfair, Lyall served as Customer Fulfilment Director for Tesco, managing end-to-end online fulfillment of the largest grocery home shopping operation in the world. Prior to Tesco, Lyall spent more than 12 years at Amazon as Vice President of European Operations, positioning operations to support rapid revenue growth.

Lyall has also held senior operations logistics positions at Apple, where he served as Director of European Fulfilment for Apple Computers, and Digital Equipment Corporation where he was responsible for the product life cycle management of a high-volume product family.
