Craig Platt Named Assistant Vice President, Strategic Business Development for the Mitchell Group

Industry veteran Craig Platt is joining The Mitchell Group, as Assistant Vice President for Strategic Business Development, Bill Fisch, president, announced today.

Platt will be responsible for supporting existing customer growth as well as developing strategic growth plans for new customers and markets. Craig Platt will report to Mike Fisch, Vice President for Strategic Business Development.

In making the announcement, Bill Fisch said, “Craig’s leadership skills, technical background and extensive knowledge of the industry & marketplace will bring additional talent to a growing team.”

Prior to joining The Mitchell Group, Craig Platt was Director of Operation Services for Designtex, a leading company in the development, design and manufacturing of applied materials for the built environment, headquartered in New York, NY. Designtex is a subsidiary of Steelcase, Inc. Platt was with Designtex for seventeen years and was responsible for technical, quality and compliance aspects of all products from design inception, throughout the sales process and through warranty.
