Las Vegas Market Adds 11 New Furniture Showrooms, 9 Major Expansions

Las Vegas Market announced recently that furniture momentum continues to intensify in advance of the Winter 2017 Las Vegas Market, running January 22-26, 2017, with more than 132,000 square feet of new showrooms, expansions and renewals signed since the Summer 2016 Market.

Newcomers represent a variety of price points, subcategories and styles, and offer designer-friendly customization options, including national and international companies DK City (A934), DOWNLITE (C1574), Dynamic Furniture (B1066), Muse Home (B858), Home Insights (B1104), Vi Spring (C1562), Carpenter Company (C1575), Cheyenne Products (B651), American Dining & Seating (A548) and Woodbrook Designs (A1022).

“We continue to see further enrichment and depth strengthening the furniture category in Las Vegas,” said Scott Eckman, President of Furniture and Home Décor Leasing and Chief Strategy Officer for International Market Centers. “Top manufacturers and up-and-comers are fueling growth – and existing tenants are expanding their showrooms to meet the sustained demand for resources driven by a strong western buyer base. The already well-established bedding and mattress category is poised particularly well for a wealth of new product introductions in January.”

Existing tenants who are expanding showrooms for Winter Market include: major expansions for Abbyson Living to 11,000 square feet and CDI to 4,000 square feet on B1; along with expansions for IMG USA and Fjords on B6, LH Imports on B7, ID USA on B10, Global Home Group on B11; and Gruppo Buoninfante on C15.

In addition, four current Las Vegas Market vendors will relocate into new showroom locations for Winter Market: Kingsdown to an 8,000 square foot showroom (C1588); Zuo Modern to a 6,000 square-foot space (B880), Pastel to 6,000 square feet (B756), as well as Casa Bonita to B146; Casa Solutions to B850; and Argo Furniture to B728.

Las Vegas Market is the largest furniture market in the western United States, with more than 2 million square feet on 32 showroom floors, along with nearly 200 temporary exhibitors showcasing home furnishings on B2 and in The Pavilions at Las Vegas Market. In addition to key furniture categories, the Las Vegas Market is recognized as THE nation’s bedding market, with the top 15 producers represented; and a growing resource for casual/outdoor furniture following its 2015 launch of two new, dedicated floors for the category. Key furniture categories presented at Las Vegas Market include casegoods, dining, upholstery, leather, casual/outdoor and more.

A growing category at Las Vegas Market, look for more new introductions from three La-Z-Boy casegoods brands – Hammary, Kincaid and American Drew – on the fifth floor of Building B. Hammary will show inside the England Furniture showroom (B555), with Kincaid and American Drew showing together (B558). New for winter, Home Insights Furniture, a mid-priced case goods manufacturer, will make its Las Vegas Market debut in a 3,124 SF showroom on the 11th floor of Building, B1104.
