Malouf Home has formed an exclusive distribution partnership with Pillow Cube, a popular direct-to-consumer brand who rose to fame by making a pillow exclusively for side sleepers.

Jay Davis founded Pillow Cube in July 2019 through a Kickstarter campaign and personal experience. As someone who sleeps on his side, Davis couldn’t find his ideal pillow. He said, “From a young age, I knew traditional pillows just did not work for me. I preferred sleeping on the squared-off arm of our couch rather than a pillow because of the way it supported my head and neck. Seventy percent of the U.S. population sleep on their side at some point in the night, and I created Pillow Cube because we need more options for side sleepers.”

The Kickstarter was fully funded in 48 hours, supported by an engaging and successful marketing campaign. Since that launch, the company is consistently featured in publications like Buzzfeed, Aparent Therapy, The New York Times, and the Today Show. Aggressive marketing continues to be a tenet of the business with viral video ads, influencer partnerships, and a $40-million-dollar annual advertising spend. Davis said, “We want to be the pillow that everyone is talking about.”
