MLILY to Host Moonshine Mixer & Live Charity Auction at Las Vegas Market to Benefit “Special Spaces”

MLILY USA will once again host its popular “Moonshine Mixer” event at the Winter Las Vegas Market, on Saturday, January 22 from 4-7 p.m. For this market, the mattress manufacturer will include a live auction to raise awareness and funds to support the important work of Special Spaces – a non-profit organization that creates dream bedrooms for children fighting cancer. This is the first time the event will include a live auction, which will also be available online, providing guests with the opportunity to bid on a variety of items, as well as donate funds directly toward two Special Spaces room makeovers. The event will take place in the MLILY showroom, which is located at B-900.

The philanthropic event is a popular industry favorite and features a curated selection of Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine. Limited edition collectable bottles will be available for guests to take home in exchange for a donation. A $10 donation from guests, for Special Spaces, will include an open bar, food, entertainment and giveaways.

The auction will be hosted by Kevin Rutter, an entertaining professional auctioneer, and will include a variety of items that guests can bid on such as an all-inclusive Jack Hannah South African Safari package, a five-night trip for four guests to Lake Tahoe, Nevada, a dream car experience in Las Vegas, an MLILY PowerCool Sleep System and other gifts. Participation in the auction can also be done via an online link at Special Spaces Knoxville Auction . Guests can pre-register on the auction site before the event to be notified when the auction opens.

All donations from the event will be applied toward the company’s goal of raising $10,000 for Special Spaces, which is equivalent to the cost of two room makeovers. The first makeover will be for Louis, a six-year-old battling B-cell leukemia and includes a dinosaur-themed room. The second is for Dominick, a five-year-old battling brain cancer and will include a calming, toned-down theme. Representatives from Special Spaces will be at the event to share stories of how Special Spaces has changed children’s lives.
