Malouf Expands CBD Product Line Following Retailers’ Successes

Malouf recently announced that it is adding three new products to their CBD sleep line, which they launched during the January 2020 Las Vegas Market. Based on the success of the existing pillows, the team has designed a 2.5-inch ActiveDough™ mattress topper for their bedding lineup and created a new product category with a CBD-infused lotion and CBD spritzer to help customers sleep easier.
The 2.5-inch mattress topper is the first topper Malouf has ever offered with their popular ActiveDough™ memory foam. Similar to the best-selling pillow, the new topper contains pure, THC-free, isolate CBD oil infused into proprietary ActiveDough™ foam, which combines the responsiveness of latex with the cushioning of memory foam. The topper also includes a signature Malouf touch, the aromatherapy benefits of a clary sage scent. “The topper is ideal for customers that struggle with sleep and want to refresh an old mattress. All our new CBD products are designed for customers looking for better sleep, but now they can access it in a way that works well for them: topically or through a product,” said Scott Carr, Malouf director of marketing.
Malouf has also added a CBD lotion and spritzer to an accessory lineup for those who want to try CBD on a smaller, more personal scale. The Botanical CBD Lotion is infused with nanosized, encapsulated CBD, which can penetrate the derma layers of the skin for location-specific or full-body relief from aches and pains. The lotion features a familiar floral scent from a lavender essential oil infusion and is formulated with coconut oil, shea butter, and olive oil for premium moisture.
The new spritzer is a larger version (two fluid ounces) of the spritzer included with Malouf CBD pillows, so it can be sold to customers looking to refresh the effects of their pillow or to customers who liked the idea but prefer the feel of a different pillow. It comes in the same soothing clary sage scent as the signature pillow line.
