Office Furniture Liquidations Launches Showroom for Designer Furniture

Office Furniture Liquidations (OFL), which offers quality commercial grade and hotel furniture at liquidation prices, announced that it has launched a high-end furniture division to its showroom. The luxury, designer specialty pieces will be featured in a highlighted showroom and branded as OFL | Luxe.

According to OFL CEO Erik Darmstetter the company has always leveraged its partners to offer the highest quality office furniture to customers. He said it was time to showcase these items in the store with a distinct showroom.

“We are able to periodically secure these designer ‘statement pieces’ and it was time we showcased them for the quality product and exceptional value at which they are being offered,” Darmstetter said. “We will still carry the everyday office furniture at unimaginable prices through real business liquidations. But for the customers who are familiar with and looking for those unique luxury brands and designers, we will proudly feature those too, also at a fraction of the new, retail price.”

The launch of OFL | Luxe is highlighted with products from Knoll and Bernhardt, to name a few. Some of the items currently include the Knoll Saarinen Executive Chair and Dining Table, as well as the Orbit Chair by Bernhardt Design. Because OFL products are the result of liquidated business assets and real estate lock outs, new furniture pieces arrive daily and available to customers.

According to advance estimates from the Department of Commerce’s monthly report on retail sales, furniture and home furnishings store sales, adjusted for seasonal variation and trading day differences, rose 5.2% in October to $10.4 billion compared with the same month last year. While off 0.4% from September levels, sales have grown 5.3% from August through October, slightly ahead at overall retail sales increases of 5.1% for the same three-month period.
