Bob’s Discount Furniture Donates $100,000 to Autism Speaks

Bob’s Discount Furniture announced that it recently presented Autism Speaks with a $100,000 donation during the Greater Boston Autism Speaks Walk on Sunday, October 6th. Funds were raised as part of the company’s Café Collections for a Cause campaign, held in all Bob’s store locations during the second quarter of the year. This donation will go toward research, awareness, and advocacy programs to increase knowledge of autism and help those affected by the condition.
 
Rob Ringler, regional manager at Bob’s, presented Jennifer Podall, Autism Speaks’ senior vice president of constituent engagement, with the $100,000 check donation during the event’s opening remarks.
 
Bob’s is committed to its ongoing support of Autism Speaks. Throughout 2019, Bob’s employees have participated in 15 Autism Speaks Walks across the country, including yesterday’s event in Boston.  Through various outreach initiatives, Bob’s has donated over $550,000 for Autism Speaks since 2014.
