Growth Across Atlanta Gift Collection for July 2019 Market

The Atlanta International Gift and Home Furnishings Market reports that the gift category has grown with 83 new, expanded, relocated and renewed showrooms in the lead up to the July 2019 Market. The gift offerings in Atlanta are the largest in the nation with some 4,000 brands in more than 600 showrooms across 18 floors.

“Each market, buyers will find something new in gift in Atlanta,” said Dave Savula, Executive Vice President, International Market Centers (IMC) and President Gift & Apparel Leasing. “The strong leasing for this summer cycle and the new realignment of our seasonal collection with our gift offerings ensures that buyers will find a comprehensive and cohesive array of new, trendsetting gift products as they prepare for the upcoming holiday season.”  

Updates are found across seven Gift categories: The Gardens®, General Gift and Specialty Gift, Gourmet & Housewares, Home Accents & Gift, Made in America, Seasonal / Gift and Tabletop & Gift.

General Gift and Specialty Gift features nearly 175 showrooms with nine new, expanding and relocating locations: Candle Warmers, Corkcicle, Diverse Marketing, India Handicrafts, Just Got 2 Have It, Oak Street Wholesale, Sandy Ruben, Star Hollow Candle and Wholesale Home Décor.

In Home Accents & Gift, which features more than 80 showrooms with home accessories in addition to gift items, six new and expanded brands are Gib Carson & Associates, Jacqueline Kent, Kitras Art Glass, The Light Garden, Magenta and MVP Group International.

The Made in America presentation of more than 20 showrooms continues to grow with seven new and expanded brands: Anne Vaughn Designs, The Artel Collection, The Artist Jay, Barbie Levy Jewelry, DeVeer Designs, Mark Steel and Pine Designs.

Updates to the nearly 100 showrooms in The Gardens include brands representing a broad range of products for enjoying the outdoors. Ten new, expanded and relocated showrooms are Alpine Corp, Amaranth, Blue Orange, Bosmere, Continental Art Center, Entryways Doormats, Le Primitif Galleries, Premier Kites & Designs, Tula Hats and Womanswork.

In Tabletop & Gift, the nearly 90 showrooms include eight new and expanded showrooms: Annieglass, Bluesky Clayworks, Maple Leaf at Home, Mariposa, Michael Wainwright, Mila Brown, Pomegranate, and William Yeoward Crystal.

In the more than 60 showrooms in Gourmet & Housewares, nine new and expanded showrooms are Ala Carte Alice, Blue Cattle Truck, Delectable Samplings, Jura, Kasperzack & Associates, La Crema Coffee, Mills Gourmet, Spokandy and Trudeau Corporation.   

In addition to these new and expanding showrooms, 35 gift brands have renewed their leases in preparation for the market: Achla Designs, Aurora, Backyard Nature Products / Birds Choice / Perfect Choice, Bearington Collection, Bradshaw International, California Home & Garden, Caskata,  Dartington Crystal, Evergreen Enterprises, The Glass Station, Glitzhome, Goldcrest Dist. / Songbird Essentials / Gift Essentials, Harold Import, Jay Import Company, J.D. The previously announced rebranding of The Seasonal / Gift collection – formerly Holiday & Floral / Home Décor – aligns it with the Gift category and makes the product mix clearer for buyers by more accurately reflecting the merchandise showcased on the floors. Seasonal / Gift is the world’s largest permanent showcase of seasonal and faux botanical merchandise with more than 120 exhibitors including Accent Décor, Allstate Floral, K&K Interiors, Kurt S. Adler, Raz Imports, Regency International, Windward International and many more. It features gift and seasonal décor product plus the nation’s largest collection of European holiday and artisan lines.

The product presentation in the Gift showrooms is augmented by more than 2,500 brands showcased in 28 gift-focused temporary collections with specializations in design-driven and luxury products; gourmet food, housewares and tabletop; outdoor living; seasonal merchandise; handmade and artisan gifts; museum gifts; spa products; children’s gifts; jewelry, fashion and accessories; and general gifts. The temporaries are open July 10-14.
