HPMA Releases the High Point Market Style Report for Summer/Fall 2019

Furniture World News Desk on 6/5/2019

The High Point Market Authority (HPMA) recently announced that it has released this season’s High Point Market Style Report for Summer/Fall 2019.

This 37-page report was developed by eight home fashion gurus, all part of the HPMA’s 2019 Style Spotters team, who scoured the Spring High Point Market, April 6-10, for the hottest must-have items and then translated their picks into today’s top trends. The report highlights 22 different trends, ranging from “Inlay, Overlay, and Texture” to “Fully Functional with Style”, from “Postmodern Pleasures” to “A Sensuous Turn”, and more. In all, the report features 68 different products from 48 different High Point Market exhibitors. All trends in the Style Report for Summer/Fall 2019 may be found and downloaded at www.highpointmarket.org/products-and-trends/summer-fall-2019-style-report.

“Canvassing the world’s largest home fashion and design show, our remarkable group of design leaders uncovered the key global trends and innovative products that will define style in the months to come,” commented Style Spotters Advisors Shay Geyer and Gary Inman in their intro for the report. “With curations as diverse, exciting, and unique as they are, they will put you on the inside track to the shapes, colors, and textures that are about to capture consumers’ hearts.”

Mentored by Shay Geyer and Gary Inman, program alumni and HPMA’s Style Spotters Advisors, each Style Spotter serves for two Markets over a calendar year. When they source a treasure at Market, they present exhibitors with a sign that highlights the Style Spotter’s name with a QR code and URL for the High Point Market Pinterest board.
