Classic Brands Hires 20-Year Vet for New Sales Post

Specialty mattress producer Classic Brands reports that it has hired 20-year mattress industry veteran Paris Fealy to the position of vice president of sales. In his new post, Fealy will focus on growing the company’s presence in the adjustable bed base category and developing sales strategies for its extensive mattress lineup.
“Paris’ wide-ranging sales experience in the mattress and adjustable bed categories make him the perfect fit for this new position,” said Michael Zippelli, president and CEO of Classic Brands. “It will allow us to raise our profile in the fast-growing adjustable bed market almost immediately. During his long career, he has earned the trust and respect of key people throughout the industry.”
Most recently, Fealy was vice president of sales at adjustable bed base producer Ergomotion, where he had worked since 2013. Earlier, he was senior territory sales manager for Sealy from 2008 to 2013, a key account executive at Serta from 2005 to 2008, and a district manager and senior district manager at Mattress Giant from 1999 to 2004.
Fealy reports to Mark Owen, executive vice president of sales and business development at Classic Brands.

Fealy, who resides with his family in Pompano Beach, Florida, holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from the University of Miami, and is currently enrolled in the school’s MBA program. He also holds a master of arts in leadership from Azusa Pacific University.
