Bob’s Discount Furniture recently partnered with the Pittsburgh Steelers this holiday season to surprise the Johnson family, from McKeesport, with new furniture delivered by a special guest. Roosevelt Nix of the Steelers disguised as part of the Bob’s delivery team and surprised the family during the delivery of their new furniture on December 18th, 2018. Bob’s and the Pittsburgh Steelers brought comfort and joy to the Johnsons, a family of two adults and two children, who suffered from a devastating residential fire.

Bob’s Monroeville Sales Manager, Erich Gamache, previously hosted Ms. Johnson and her two children during an exclusive Bob’s Discount Furniture Shopping Trip Experience on Saturday, December 8th. He, along with Bob’s Regional Manager, Christian Torres, were present during the donation delivery and surprise.

About The Pittsburgh Steelers: From the founding of the Steelers in 1933, giving back to the community has always been a priority.  Our late founder, Art Rooney Sr., recognized the importance of supporting the community that supports the team and passed that legacy on to his family – son, Dan, Steelers chairman and in turn to his son, Art Rooney II, Steelers president.  In addition to the Rooneys, Steelers players, coaches and front office staff devote numerous hours helping those less fortunate through non-profit and community groups. It’s our way of giving back to the community that has supported the organization for more than 85 years!
