Tempur Sealy Opens 25th Tempur-Pedic Retail Location in 2018

Tempur Sealy International, Inc. announced the opening of its 25th Tempur-Pedic flagship retail store during 2018. The Company recently opened retail store No. 38 in Roseville, Calif., near Sacramento. Next scheduled to open is a new flagship store in Albuquerque, N.M., which is also home to one of the Company’s state-of-the-art Tempur-Pedic production facilities. The Albuquerque location is slated to open in the next few weeks, with the 40th store scheduled to open before the end of 2018.

The Company is now turning its attention to expansion plans for 2019 in order to reach even more consumers, targeting 60 to 80 Company-owned store locations by the end of 2019. As a part of this process, the Company is currently evaluating a number of markets and properties, and is in active negotiations with landlords of certain locations previously occupied by Mattress Firm, which recently filed for bankruptcy protection.
