Bob’s Discount Furniture Partners with PATH and Donates $20,000 in Furniture and Gift Cards

Bob’s Discount Furniture recently partnered with PATH, a non-profit working towards ending homelessness for individuals and families in California, to provide new furniture to PATH’s permanent residences and surprise families in the local community.  As part of this partnership, Bob’s treated 15 families to a surprise shopping trip at the new Bob’s locations. Arriving at the store opening event via limousine, the families had the opportunity to see the Chadwick Beds, Bob-o-Pedic Mattresses, Drop Leaf Dinning Tables, Apollo Bookcases, Avenue Sofas, Chaises, and Loveseats that were donated by Bob’s Discount Furniture. In addition, the families were surprised with $500 gift certificates provided by Bob’s Public Relations and Outreach Team to shop for more home décor, bedding and decorative accents for their new permanent residences.

“PATH is thankful to be recognized by Bob’s Discount Furniture as this year’s honorary nonprofit partner,” said Jennifer Hark Dietz, Deputy CEO, PATH. “It is community partnerships with companies and organizations like Bob’s that give PATH residents a home with all of life’s daily necessities and a space they can love and be proud of.”

In addition to the shopping trip, Bob’s furnished PATH residences with Chadwick Beds, Bob-o-Pedic Mattresses, Drop Leaf Dinning Tables, Apollo Bookcases, Avenue Sofas, Chaises, and Loveseats. The total furniture donations and gift certificates are valued at $20,000.
