Mike Harris Joins Hooker Casegoods, Upholstery as Sales Vice President

Hooker Furniture Corporation recently announced that Mike Harris, an experienced executive in both case goods and upholstery, has joined the company in the position of Vice President of Sales for Hooker Casegoods and Upholstery.
A 30-year veteran of the furniture industry, he began his career as an independent home furnishings sales representative for 14 years. He most recently served as vice president of sales for leather upholstery specialist HTL International and he has held various senior executive positions with Legacy Classic. He reports to Jeremy Hoff, president of Hooker Casegoods and Upholstery.
“Mike’s extensive experience in both case goods and upholstery creates a great fit with Hooker Furniture and the aggressive goals that we have to grow our business for the future. We’re excited to have him join the Hooker Furniture executive team,” said Hoff.
Harris said, “Hooker Furniture is an iconic brand in our industry, and it’s a real privilege to work beside a group of very talented professionals in all facets of our organization.”
Matt Cowan, who most recently served as Vice President of Sales at Hooker, began his tenure with Hooker 28 years ago, as a long-time sales representative in North Texas. “He’s been an invaluable member of the Hooker Furniture team over the years, and he will remain a great asset to our company,” said Hoff. Cowan is rejoining the North Texas sales team.
Mike and his wife, Jynne’ have three grown children and live in the Greensboro area.
