New Levin Furniture Showroom in Boardman, Ohio to Host Ribbon-cutting/Grand Opening Events

Levin Furniture recently announced that renovations and finishing touches are almost complete at the new Levin Furniture showroom in Boardman, Ohio—the first ever in the Youngstown, Ohio market. Levin Furniture will unveil its 55,000-square-foot store at 300 Boardman-Poland Road (Route 224) at free grand opening events for the community August 31 through September 2, 2018.
An official ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 31. Guests can enjoy refreshments, music, register for door prizes, and tour the showroom. The fun will continue Saturday, September 1 and Sunday, September 2 with sidewalk activities and a live radio remote with Wes Miller of MIX 98.9.
“We can’t wait to open our doors and welcome Youngstown families to Levin Furniture’s beautiful new showroom,” said Chris Pelcher, executive vice president and general manager of Levin Furniture. “We look forward to becoming immersed and involved in the Boardman community.” The company will present a $2,500 check to the Akron Children’s Hospital Beeghly Campus at the August 31 event.
Levin Furniture’s showroom in Boardman, Ohio will carry a variety of name brands such as Flexsteel, La-Z-Boy and Ashley as well as private collections like Amish Village, which is manufactured in Killbuck, Ohio; West Coast Style and Grand Legacy, both made in the United States.
Located in the former Goldsteins Furniture building, Levin Furniture in Boardman, Ohio will employ 26 associates, many who previously worked at Goldsteins. Levin Furniture’s Hermitage showroom is slated to open late September 2018 and its Niles, Ohio store is scheduled to open late October 2018. Individuals attending grand opening events at these stores can enter to win a $5,000 Levin Furniture shopping spree. No purchase is necessary. The winner will be announced in November 2018.
