Crosley Brands Welcomes Andrea Wellkamp to Marketing Team

Crosley recently announced the addition of Andrea Wellkamp to its marketing team as Director of Merchandising for Furniture.

“I loved working in Boston and Dallas…I gained a lot of valuable experience; but my goal was always to move home to be closer to my family,” said Wellkamp. “I feel fortunate to have found a great position inside Crosley Brands to make that goal a reality.”

Wellkamp, who graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2011 with a B.A. in International Business, went to work full-time for a variety of companies across the country in a marketing capacity from 2012 to 2017. In May 2017, she chose to focus full-time on the pursuit of her M.B.A. at Emory University, attending the Goizueta Business School. After going through their one-year accelerated program, she graduated in May 2018. A month later, she finds herself back home and working with Crosley.

“I couldn’t be more excited and grateful about this opportunity at Crosley Brands,” added Wellkamp. “The company is a perfect fit. I’m confident I can help the Crosley team continue to grow.”

She not only brings her education to the table, the Louisville native also comes with an impressive background in merchandising. For three years, Wellkamp served Wayfair in a variety of positions, from Buyer and Category Manager for the company’s Lifestyle Brands to Senior Manager. Wayfair, one of the world’s largest online distributers of furniture, home furnishings, décor and goods, purchases furniture directly from Crosley.

Wellkamp also covered the gamut on Joss & Main’s buying leadership team at Wayfair, helping drive overall brand strategies, including marketing, site merchandising, pricing, creative, operations and product managements functions.

Prior to her tenure at Wayfair, Wellkamp worked as a Business Analyst for JC Penney’s Home Division and at TJ Maxx as a Senior Allocation Analyst.
