New & Returning Exhibitors Confirm Participation in Pavilions at Las Vegas Market

Furniture World News Desk on 5/4/2018

Las Vegas Market recently announced that early commitments from newcomers and renewals by current resources are expected to bring a dynamic range and variety of temporary exhibitors to the Pavilions at Las Vegas Market this Summer. In total, the Pavilions at Las Vegas Market will showcase 500+ gift and home décor suppliers from Sunday, July 29 to Wednesday, August 1, 2018.

“Las Vegas Market is continuing to attract record numbers of temporary exhibitors, with early commitments for Summer Market promising a substantial infusion of new-to-Market resources as well as a healthy number of returning exhibitors,” said Terence Morris, Senior Vice President Gift and Tradeshow Leasing, International Market Centers. “The nation’s fastest growing gift and home decor market, Las Vegas Market continues to expand and refine its temporaries – with greater breadth and depth of categories and improved layout of the floorplan – to best serve the needs of our ever-expanding buyer base.”

Retailers have high praise for the continued expansion of temporary exhibits at Las Vegas Market. “Las Vegas Market is always good for us, and as the temporaries grow, it is becoming even more so,” said Ray McKenzie, retail director, Filoli Historic House & Garden in Woodside, CA. “Most of the orders we wrote were there; we will definitely be at Summer Market.”

Sue Fahje, retail manager and buyer for Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium in Omaha, agreed, noting, “Las Vegas Market blew me away this year, with new vendors and so many new lines to explore. I picked up around 20 new vendors and wrote three times more orders than previous years! I especially appreciate the growth in Pavilions for GIFT; Las Vegas Market is doing an amazing job with its yearly growth.”

Temporary exhibits at the Summer Market will total 500+ in two Pavilions, with GIFT, DESIGN LIFESTYLE and HANDMADE in Pavilion 1, as well as special showcases by Artisanal LA and Aid to Artisans; and HOME, DESIGN HOME and DISCOVERIES: The Antique Vintage Marketplace in Pavilion 2. The layout of Pavilion 2 has been reorganized to concentrate home décor resources – with HOME and DESIGN HOME concentrated at the front of the Pavilion and DISCOVERIES, VINTAGE, GLOBAL and CASH & CARRY grouped at the rear of the exhibit hall.
