HFA Adds Fortiva Retail Credit to List of Solution Partners

Furniture World News Desk on 10/8/2020

Fortiva Retail Credit recently announced that it is the Home Furnishings Association’s newest Solution Partner. The Home Furnishings Association’s partnership with Fortiva Retail Credit is HFA’s latest addition to its portfolio of more than 45 Solution Partners, providing members access to products and services that can help them do business better and more profitably.

More than 90 million Americans have credit scores of less than 700. Jordan Boyst, HFA’s director of partnerships, said Fortiva Retail Credit “is a perfect solution” for customers with less than ideal credit. “In today’s economy, our members need to offer shoppers as many options as possible to make a sale,” said Boyst. “Fortiva Retail Credit helps our members say yes to customers more often.”

In addition to repeat business, customers who establish Fortiva Retail Credit accounts are more likely to buy more than other customers – up to 35 percent more. Fortiva Retail Credit leverages flexible technology capabilities to offer customers a seamless option between prime financing and lease-to-own solutions. When a customer is declined for financing from a prime credit lender, their application is reviewed and may be instantly processed for Fortiva Retail Credit’s second-look solution, creating an integrated consumer experience and incremental approvals for HFA members.

Fortiva Retail Credit leverages 20-plus years of proven analytics to inform proprietary underwriting models to facilitate instant credit decisions. Decades of experience, in concert with billions in loans funded, allow Fortiva Retail Credit to approve more customers. “Fortiva Retail Credit prides itself on providing its merchant partners and account holders a seamless experience that is accompanied by outstanding customer service,” said Matt Zalubowski, Senior Vice President, Business Development for Fortiva Retail Credit. “No one enjoys being told they have been declined for credit,” said Zalubowski. “Fortiva Retail Credit offers an instant alternative; leveraging technology helps us better serve both our merchant partners and their customers.”

HFA members that sign up for Fortiva Retail Credit receive a discounted rate and are not subject to standard minimum revenue requirements.
