Eclipse International to Open 8,000-Square-Foot High Point Showroom

Furniture World News Desk on 3/15/2019

Mattress manufacturer Eclipse International announced that it will open an 8,000-square-foot showroom in the centrally located Market On Main building at next month’s High Point Market. The new exhibit space, which will occupy the entire fifth floor, will become the company’s largest showroom – about 40 percent larger than its recently-expanded Las Vegas Market space.

“Our return to High Point opens up our extensive brand lineup to a worldwide audience of furniture store buyers, designers and specialty retailers that see the Market as a destination for new product,” said Stuart Carlitz, chief executive officer of Eclipse International. “As we continue to grow our collection of brands, we’re looking to strike partnerships with retailers looking for unique brands that offer healthy margins and protected distribution.”

Eclipse hasn’t had a standalone High Point showroom since 2016, when the company occupied a 2,500 square-foot space in the International Home Furnishings Center.

Carlitz said the new showroom will accommodate models from each of its brands – Eclipse, Eastman House, Van Vorst, Ernest Hemingway, Pure Talalay Bliss, Velika and BIA – demonstrating the breadth and depth of its product offerings.

Located at 223 S. Main St. in the heart of the High Point Market district, Market On Main is best known for its distinctive, glass-enclosed elevator that overlooks Main Street.

“It’s an outstanding, high-profile location that will help raise awareness of our brands and drive further growth of our business worldwide,” Carlitz said. “Combined with our Las Vegas Market showroom, which we recently doubled in size, we’re now positioned to offer our products to all major distribution channels.”
