Sourcing Manager
Lead buyer for an international hospitality and contract furniture supplier with base production in Malaysia. Established the Shanghai buying office to reduce cost and enhance efficiency. Sourced new furniture components and material suppliers including hardware, finishing materials, paint, veneer, stone, mirrors and glass. Estimated pricing for upcoming projects and bids. Maintained high level quality within a tight timeline and under budget. Negotiated price structure and delivery time. Managed each individual sub-contractor operation and quality control staff.
• Sourced and purchased materials and components in North and South America, Europe and Asia that were manufactured into furniture that was sold to hotels such as the Grand Hyatt, Hilton, Crown Plaza, The MGM Grand, Ritz Carlton, The Plaza and the Four Seasons.
• Key memember of the production staff that produced 530 containers worth of furniture for high-end hotels.
• Oversaw component and material purchasing operations that contributed to $20 million in total sales.
• Developed over 25 designs of hardware totaling 20000 units of production.

Sourcing Director
Managed oversees sourcing, production and purchasing for US furniture wholesaler. Designed and constructed new furniture collections. Exported 380 containers of finished product from Asia. Developed residential furniture lines that included; Teak Garden Furniture, Cast Aluminum, Sling, and Wicker Garden Furniture, Brazilian Cherry, Oak, MDF, and French Provincial Pine Collections, Home Dιcor Products, Leather Chairs and Sofas, and a wide variety of fabrics and cushions.

• Designed, patented, developed and constructed the outdoor extendible aluminum dinning table that was sold throughout North America.
• Participated as the head buyer in all international furniture and gift shows including; Paris, Colon, Atlanta, Frankford, Singapore, Beijing, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Chicago, Shanghai, Canton, Honk Kong, Ho Chi Minh City, Jakarta, and New York.
• Furniture collections sold at such companies as TJMax, Home Goods, Lillian August, Harrows Pool and Patio and over 300 furniture stores totaling over $5 million in sales
• Negotiated product cost of each item, with individual purchasing totaling over $2 million
• Brought 6 lines of furniture from concept to end product that was sold for over $6 million over a three year time frame.
• Inspected and managed QC over 10,000 items of teak furniture in Vietnam over an 8 month period
• Developed and maintained at least 9 to 12 furniture suppliers at any given time with production in China, Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia.
