Home furnishings industry veteran Ron Carpenter and partner Will Carpenter recently announced the formation of eCommerce Sales Partners, Inc. (ESP), a specialized firm dedicated to assisting furniture manufacturers, importers and distributors with eCommerce channel development, major account management and online sales representation.

ESP works with furniture manufacturers, importers and distributors to develop and implement marketing plans and sales strategies for the rapidly growing online distribution channel. ESP offers extensive knowledge and experience with online dealers such as Amazon.com, Wayfair.com, Overstock.com, Hayneedle.com/Jet.com/Walmart.com, and Houzz.com, as well as multiple niche online retail home furnishings specialists. After implementing online sales strategies for its clients, ESP serves as the account manager and sales representative to the online distribution channel for those lines. Current ESP clients include A.R.T. Furniture, Palliser Furniture, Palliser Casegoods (Casana Furniture), C.R. Plastic Products and Kalora Interiors.

“As eCommerce has become an important mainstream distribution channel, many vendors haven’t optimized their internal processes and value proposition for the requirements of these online dealers—and they often don’t have the resources or capabilities to manage them,” says Ron Carpenter, president of ESP. “We specialize in helping organizations navigate this complex channel and maximize the growth opportunities it offers.”
ESP provides clients with services such as: account introductions and business development; online product line set up and onboarding; and sales management and major account growth initiatives.

For vendors with existing eCommerce distribution, ESP assists with: relaunching current ecommerce channels or relationships; fixing or optimizing current ecommerce channels or relationships; and configuring and managing vendor resources and processes for rapid ecommerce growth. Vendors that partner with ESP realize time and money savings and can avoid costly mistakes and missed opportunities as they enter or navigate the eCommerce channel. Leveraging ESP’s experience, knowledge and connections helps furniture vendors maximize their online sales opportunities while allowing them to focus on their core competencies.

Prior to founding ESP, Ron Carpenter was the principal at Strategic Marketing Solutions, providing consulting services in the areas of strategic planning, market planning, new business development, and implementation of supporting marketing programs. Previously, he served as the Vice President - Marketing & Business Development at Magnussen Home Furnishings; the Director - Furniture Industry Consulting Services at BDO Seidman, LLP; and the Vice President - Marketing & Business Development at Lea Industries.

Prior to joining ESP, Will Carpenter served as a Senior Associate at Strategic Marketing Solutions, a
