FurnitureFind.com announced the retention of Peter Michaelson as consultant to advise on marketing issues and act as General Manager of FurnitureFind.com's online business. With over 30 years experience in marketing, Michaelson most recently held the position of Senior Vice President of Marketing for the Equity Trust Company, the leading self-directed IRA custodian in the U.S. Previously, he was Senior Vice President for OfficeMax, where he was responsible for the online and catalog sales channels, generating $500 million in sales. and served as head of marketing for companies such as the IBM PC Company and Hasco Int'l. He also developed marketing plans for Reebok, HBO and Proctor & Gamble. He also has been a consultant in the development of marketing plans and programs for Reebok, HBO and Procter & Gamble. He graduated with distinguished honors from the MBA program of the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
