Furniture Retailer Pompanoosuc Mills Institutes Private Label Credit Card Program

Pompanoosuc Mills, a Vermont-based designer and manufacturer of better hardwood furniture, has selected Shoppers Charge Accounts (SCA), a division of Hudson United Bank of Mahwah, N.J., to develop and administer a private label credit card program for its 11 retail locations and online store. Operating showrooms in New York City; Philadelphia; Cambridge, Mass.; Ridgewood, N.J.; West Hartford and Westport, Conn.; Nashua, Concord, and Hanover, N.H.; and Burlington, Vt., and with factory showroom and corporate headquarters in East Thetford, Vt., Pompanoosuc Mills sells hardwood and upholstered furniture built to order in a variety of standard styles and sizes for every room of the home and office. The new Pompanoosuc Mills credit card will offer cardholders special privileges, such as payment options of three months or six months interest-free from the time of purchase. SCA, which is ranked among the nation’s largest private label credit card companies, is a division of Hudson United Bank, a subsidiary of Hudson United Bancorp (NYSE: HU).
