IFDA Educational Foundation And IHFC To Sponsor Two Designer Luncheons During High Point Market

The International Furnishings and Design Association Educational Foundation and the International Home Furnishings Center will co-sponsor two luncheon and design seminars for interior designers during the International Home Furnishings Market in High Point, NC in October. Guest speakers will be Judy George, founder, chairman and CEO of Boston-based Domain Home Fashions, and Lillian August, acclaimed textiles designer and CEO of a diversified design-based company, the Lillian August Studio. On Friday, October 16, Judy George will discuss "Sharing the Vision - Women in a Profound Intuitive Era, " Based on her book, The Domain Book of Intuitive Home Design, she will explain her new way of thinking about decorating and offer an insight of how people can express their one-of-a-kind style. A book signing will follow the seminar. On the following day, Saturday, October 17, Lillian August will explore "The Mix Matters - The Art of Traditional Design." With a unique perspective on design, the designer will share her ideas on making interiors memorable and on staying inspired in a world of romantic style and tradition. Victoria magazine is presenting the seminar. Both designer luncheons will be held at noon in International Ballroom B, Club Level 11th floor, Green Wing, IHFC.
