DuPont Dacron® Polyester Fiberfill will unveil five new fibers, making its offering the broadest in the industry. For use in a variety of furniture and mattress applications, the offering includes Dacron® 991X a new anti-microbial fiber to inhibit the growth of bacteria, and Dacron® 2001 - in honor of the new millennium - which provides increased filling power and a softer hand. To ensure uniform blends, Dacron® 997 and 918 are ideal. Dacron® 518 is the choice for applications in which a plump, soft hand is required.
