John Turano & Sons Return To The Sold-Out 36th Mid-Atlantic Furniture & Accessory Market

Karel Exposition Management has already sold out its first show of the year 2000: the Mid-Atlantic Furniture & Accessory Market in Edison, New Jersey. The market, which serves retail buyers and store owners from throughout the MidAtlantic region, will be held February 6-7-8, 2000, at the New Jersey Convention Center. "Since February 1992, we have housed the KEM Furniture & Accessory Markets. This bi-annual event has become our largest, hosting nearly 700 spaces in our main facility and a "new" special addition created exclusively for this event," says Joe Cascio, Director of Sales for the New Jersey Convention Center. " We are proud to say that out of our 90 plus events annually, the KEM Furniture Market is our most prestigious and largest event." "Our regional furniture and accessory markets continue to grow, and we're pleased to begin our year 2000 schedule with a complete sell-out," said Larry Karel, president. "This is the first time we have sold out so far in advance of the show dates." Altogether, exhibitors will be displaying their products in about 800 booths at the thready show, which includes nearly a 100-booth extension near the main exhibit hall entrance. "We are very pleased and excited to be returning to a Karel market after a three-year absence," said John Turano, John Turano & Sons, which will be occupying 3,000 square feet at the show. "We feel that we need to get back on board with Larry, especially since we were one of his first customers." Show hours are Sunday, February 6, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday, February 7, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and Tuesday, February 8, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. "This show will provide Mid-Atlantic retailers with an excellent opportunity to see new lines of products that will be available to consumers in coming months," said Karel.
