Living and working with our neighbors to produce a valued product which we share with families across America. This award also illustrates that the furniture industry can and does develop work forces comprised of the disadvantaged, dislocated and rehabilitated to the betterment of their lives in a tradition of caring. At times, Moosehead has gone out of its way to make sure jobs were offered to those who needed extra training and patience to bring them tip to a satisfactory standard for retention. We have allowed agency job coaches to work with potential employees to individually develop the skiffs necessary to succeed. Every person we hired increased that family's ability to improve their lifestyle and to purchase products made in America. I am very proud to accept this award on behalf of Moosehead Manufacturing Company and the 230 employees who earned it."
