Cantoni Celebrates Opening of New Atlanta Showroom

Cantoni, Inc., a leading contemporary furniture, accessory and design studio retailer, announces the opening of its new showroom in mid-town Atlanta on July 19, 2003. The Atlanta store is Cantoni’s fifth showroom location in the United States. Located at 1011 Monroe Drive, the Atlanta Cantoni showcases 21,000 square feet of space, which will be utilized for Cantoni’s international and domestic line of fine home furnishings, including dinning collections, furniture, bedroom sets, rugs, lighting, office furniture, accessories and a one-of-a-kind art work collection. In addition 1,000 square feet will be dedicated to Cantoni’s design studio area, which is a trademark service provided by Cantoni’s in-house design team. According to Michael Wilkov, Cantoni president and CEO, Cantoni’s goal is to provide the latest contemporary furnishings and accessories from the world’s most cutting-edge designers. The new Cantoni showroom location in Atlanta brings a broad mix of high-end contemporary home furnishings and design services to an area that in the past has not offered such resources through a single retail store. “The Cantoni name has become synonymous with contemporary design in home furnishings throughout our retail market locations in Dallas, Houston, Irvine and Los Angeles. So now, Cantoni is ready to become a part of the Atlanta market, and we feel extremely positive about the outcome,” said Wilkov. Headquartered in Dallas, Wilkov opened the first Cantoni store in 1984, and then further expanded into the Texas market with a second location in Houston, which opened in 1992. Later expanding into the West Coast, Wilkov established an Irvine, CA location in March 2000, and most recently opened a Los Angeles location in October 2002. “Since Cantoni is already delivering contemporary home furnishings to clients all over the United States the new Atlanta showroom is only a natural progression of our growth throughout the country,” said Wilkov. Founded in 1984, Cantoni has grown from a single location in Dallas, to more than 100,000 square feet of showroom space in Dallas, Houston, Irvine, Calif. and the newest location in Atlanta. Cantoni’s goal is to provide the best contemporary furnishings and accessories from the world's cutting-edge designers.
