Lyons Joins ISPA As Director Of Meetings And Trade Show Management

Catherine Lyons has been named Director of Meetings and Trade Show Management for the International Sleep Products Association (ISPA.) In this key assignment, Ms. Lyons will oversee the planning and on-site management of all ISPA industry events. She will provide overall direction, management and coordination for all meetings and trade shows, including the biennial ISPA EXPO; the ISPA Bedding Centre at Interzum; ISPA’s annual Industry Conference; Board and Executive Committee meetings; SHOPtalk seminars, safety conferences; and other workshops. Besides managing all associated logistics, exhibits, and contract negotiations for the events, Lyons will also coordinate event marketing efforts, sponsorships, speakers, and Web site updates with other ISPA staff members. Prior to joining ISPA, Ms. Lyons was senior director of meetings and education for Personal Communications Industry Association (PCIA), where she worked on many substantial trade shows and conferences during her six years with the trade association. Her career includes positions with four additional associations, where she gained valuable experience with member services.
