Lenz Joins Clear Thinking Group As Senior Consultant

Michael Lenz, who has held operations management positions with Sam’s Club and The Kroger Company, has joined Clear Thinking Group as a senior consultant.
Lenz has over 25 years experience in supply chain industries, both at the consulting and retail level. On the consulting side, he has worked with supermarket, discount department store, drug, convenience and specialty store chains while serving as a senior consulting manager at DCM Solutions, Dallas; as a principal consultant for Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Atlanta; and as a manager for Deloitte & Touche Consulting Group, Atlanta. Prior to moving into consulting in 1994, he was manager of store operations in the Atlanta market for the Sam’s Club Division of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. He began his retail career in 1977 with Kroger, rising to manager of store operation services for the chain’s 110-store division in the Atlanta marketing area.

A resident of Lilburn, Ga., Lenz graduated from Lawrence Institute of Technology, Southfield, Mich., with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management.
