Homepoint Selects Active Software As Its Definitive eBusiness Integration Platform

(Nasdaq: ASWX), a leading provider of eBusiness infrastructure software products, announced that HomePoint has selected the ActiveWorks™ Integration System to create a business-to-business solution that rapidly links home furnishings manufacturers and retailers. Using ActiveWorks 4.0, HomePoint will integrate its electronic commerce system with the ERP systems belonging to manufacturers and retailers who are members of the HomePoint Advantage Network. This will enable HomePoint to automate and streamline the flow of information throughout the entire home furnishings supply chain, improving operational efficiencies among B-to-B trading partners. ActiveWorks 4.0 provides the integration platform for the rapid development and deployment of e-business solutions and offers a complete solution for end-to-end process automation inside the enterprise and with B-to-B partners. Through the use of ActiveWorks, HomePoint will provide real-time access to furniture manufacturers' and retailers' back-end systems, from either the HomePoint extranet system or other affiliated systems such as Point-of-Sale (POS).
