The adjustable base manufacturing company, Ergomotion reported that it has added a new member to its management team in hiring Leo Vera as its new Chief Operating Officer effective October 31,2011.
 
As the company has experienced considerable growth in 2011, Ergomotion’s executives recognized a need for an addition to the organization’s management. This led to the hiring of a Chief Operating Officer, a position which was previously unfilled.
 
Leo Vera hails from Buenos Aires, Argentina, was raised in San Jose, California and obtained his B.S. in Business Administration from California Polytechnic San Luis Obispo in 1994. After graduating, Vera commenced his career in the audit practice, followed by extensive experience as a business consultant for global clients in various industries such as automotive, contract manufacturing and biotechnology. In 2006, he became a Regional Controller for Pyrotek, a privately-held sales and engineering company focused in the aluminum industry, where he had financial responsibility for various plants, later being promoted to Managing Director of a global Division of the company. The strengths that Vera brought to the table in global industry, manufacturing, finance and operations are great assets to Ergomotion’s expanding international market.
