Martinique headboard introduction
Leggett & Platt® Consumer Products Group announced that it will feature nine new ornamental beds at the Las Vegas Furniture Market, including five upholstered headboards, a new collection for the company. Available under the Leggett & Platt® Fashion Bed™ brand, the beds vary in style and are available at a wide range of retail price points, from $299 to $699.
“Before we introduce new designs to our line, we thoroughly research consumer preferences and trends as well as talk to our customers to ensure we will meet their needs while capturing consumer interest,” said Rob Woods, president of Leggett & Platt Consumer Products Group. “Upholstered headboards are no exception. When looking at what to add next, we found a strong consumer demand for this particular style. We are excited to introduce this new collection at Market.”
One of the five additions is the Leggett & Platt® Fashion Bed™ “Martinique” headboard. Inspired by the famous French Caribbean island, the Martinique headboard boasts clean lines and rich, plush upholstery. The ivory-colored linen-like weave and tufted buttons provide the classic look of simple luxury. The 54-inch headboard is available in twin, full, queen and king. The approximate retail price for a queen is $349.
In addition to the upholstered beds, four metal ornamental beds have been added to the Leggett & Platt® Fashion Bed™ line-up to complement contemporary, traditional and transitional home décor styles. Finishes for the metal beds range from silver and cherry to gilded truffle.
