Finalists Announced for ASFD 2011 Pinnacle Awards

ASFD reported that the Pinnacle  judges met at High Point University's Norton Hall last week to select the finalists for the 16th Annual ASFD Pinnacle™ Design Achievement Awards. 

“The judges were impressed by the quantity and quality of entries for this year’s competition and they did an outstanding job in the process,” said Steve Hodges,  chairman of ASFD’s Pinnacle Committee.   "We  appreciate and thank them for their participation."

The 2011 judges were Dr. Richard Bennington, High Point University; Mary Brehm, Norwalk Furniture & Design, Raleigh, NC; Kenneth Fonville, EcoSelect Furniture, High Point, NC; Jackie Hirschhaut, American Home Furnishings Alliance (AHFA); Michael Lennon, City Furniture, Tamarac, FL;  Bruce Mulder, Kendall College of Art & Design, Sheila Long O’Mara, Home Furnishings Business;  Connie Post, Connie Post Global Media; Dianne Ray, Garden City Furniture, SC; Thomas Russell, Furniture/Today; Shane Spiller, Spiller Furniture, Tuscaloosa, AL; and Rhonda Wolf, Havertys Furniture, Atlanta, GA.
