“Furnishing the Future” Focuses On Technology, Customer Service

Renegade Furniture recently reported that more than 200 furniture industry professionals gathered together last week at at their networking event, “Furnishing the Future.” The event, held on July 14 at the Hilton Long Island/Huntington, was a great success, generating lively discussion and tremendous feedback from panelists and attendees alike.

During the networking event, speakers discussed delivery systems and the importance of combining low damage with quicker service, how to compare products in the marketplace and better drive customers’ long-term purchasing habits, and the future of retail and the home furnishings industry. Technology, both in the warehouse and as an enabler of better customer service, was a major point of emphasis, and the afternoon’s two-part panel discussion was a look at technology at its best.

The full day event, including lunch and dinner with mentalist Michael Karl as entertainment, also included awards as partners of the year to Jeff Kubrick of Coaster Furniture, Todd Weinstein of Legacy Classic, and Joe Manzella of G&G Delivery, and to Renegade Furniture Management Sara Karp and Sarah Kazen.
