Classic Loom Fine Furniture is the exclusive importer of the distinctive, high end line of woven wire furniture produced by the popular European company, Origineel Loom out of the Netherlands. The loom fabric is a natural fiber twisted into twine over a metal core. The metal core adds strength and bounce to the upholstery. Unlike a typical wicker, Loom does not split or crack and has no ends or joins sticking out. Loom will never split or crack, is smooth to the touch and will not catch on stockings or clothes such as a typical wicker. This line can be used for both residential and contract applications. It is ISO tested for durability and stability on a regular basis by an outside lab. Classic Loom Furniture is unique in its vast variety of designs ranging from classic to contemporary. It is handcrafted using hand bent beech wood frames that are air dried for seven months prior to upholstering. Origineel Loom uses the most modern loom production methods but is still in keeping with most of the same techniques used to create the original loom furniture of the 1920's. Our line includes a vast variety of designs suitable for almost any décor.
