A.R.T. Furniture, Inc. will open a new 50,000 square foot warehouse facility in Hickory, NC, in April to facilitate shipments to East Coast retailers.

According to VP of Sales, Bill Sibbick, the new warehouse has been opened in response to requests from retailers located east of the Mississippi and when added to the 150,000 square foot warehouse in China and 90,000 square foot warehouse in Ontario, CA, provides a higher level of flexibility for buyers across the country.

“Our advantages, which now include the ability to mix up to five collections in one container from China, the warehouse capabilities on both coasts, and the option for retailers to check stock online and monitor their shipment status through FurnishWeb, make it easier to do business with A.R.T,” Sibbick said. “These logistics capabilities complement the many quality features and benefits, such as our superior finishes, that have made our collections so successful.”

Established in 2003, A.R.T. Furniture has increased its sales annually, offering 18 originally designed whole home collections and enjoying partnerships with most of the top retailers in the US. The company will have a showroom in Space C-1295 at the World Market Center in Las Vegas in July, 2008. They opened a new 40,000 square foot showroom on the second floor of Plaza Suites on Main Street in High Point in October, 2007. A.R.T. will introduce three new collections at the April, 2008 Market.
