Soft contemporary and transitional designs were a big hit among buyers, with favorites including the company's Graphique, Essex, Floral Silhouette and the Biltmore® for Your Home Orchard House patterns. Capel Braids - American Originals™ were also popular among visitors, who were impressed by new colors in the American Legacy collection.

In addition, Capel showcased its newest licensee, Jane Seymour Designs, by hosting celebrity artist and designer Jane Seymour for a special book-signing event. The company introduced four new collections by Jane Seymour, including Tinselle, Jane's Lily, Catwalk and Woodcut during Las Vegas, which won praise from visitors.

"We were thrilled with our visitation and sales this market," said Capel's Vice President of Sales Allen Robertson. "The atmosphere at Las Vegas Market was very positive and it was great to see so many of our West Coast customers. We were pleased to be able to share some fabulous collections with eager customers, and we're already looking forward to August for an encore performance."

Floral Silhouette

A strikingly graceful, sweeping floral pattern in glistening, high cut viscose wanders over a field of 100 percent pure wool for a textured effect. The low-cut loop, hand knotted ground is expertly woven by hand in an ancient Nepalese construction by mature artisans in India. These true works of art are heirlooms in the making. The Floral Silhouette collection is available in the colorways sauterne, onyx, robin's egg and champagne. A 5' x 8' rug may retail for $1,499.

Graphique

The high style and sophisticated designs of Graphique are created by Capel's weaving partners in India. Beautiful hand tufting and carving make these upscale patterns and colors a smashing addition to both casual and formal decor. Composed of a blend of pure wool and viscose, Graphique provides lasting service and durability. The collection is available in the unique patterns Ringlets, Hibiscus, Floral Step and Shadow Branch in a variety of colorways. A 5' x 8' rug may retail for $499.

Essex

Hand loomed in India, the Essex collection is a versatile product for any casual application. Fine, pure wool and a classic "goose eye" design provide lasting enjoyment for a modest investment. The Essex collection is reversible and available in the colorways champagne, putty, bronze and russet. A 5' x 8' rug may retail for $199.

Persian Trace

Intricately hand knotted antique rug patterns weave their way through fashionable field colors creating a unique decorating statement. Composed of 100% pure, hard-twisted wool, this unusual, tone-on-tone design treatment was carefully knotted by expert artisans in India. Persian Trace is available in the colorways jade, chestnut and poppy. A 5'6" x 8'6" rug may retail for $1,999.

Orchard House

A new addition to Capel's Biltmore® For Your Home line, Orchard House is named for the farmhouse on the Biltmore grounds that pre-dates the estate. Hand tufted in India for an exceptionally soft hand, stylized designs are inspired by leaded glass and carved stone adorning the entrance of Biltmore House. The Florali style is available in the colorways honey, blue spruce and barley, and the Rings style is available in the colorways maize, flax and persimmon. A 5' x 8' rug may retail for $599.

Finesse - Scroll

An esteemed collection from Capel Anywhere™, Finesse-Scroll is woven on precision machine looms in Europe. A flat weave construction of pure olefin yarn, these versatile rugs can be used in high traffic areas indoors - like kitchens and sunrooms - or to dress up covered porches and decks outside. Finesse-Scroll is available in the colorways Ocean, Chocolate and Clay. A 5'3" x 7'6" rug may retail for $159.
